Sunset barn and The Roost provide charming getaways located on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, just a short distance from the quaint market towns of Helmsley (10 miles), Pickering (5 miles) and Hutton le Hole (6 miles). Explore the renowned Cleveland Way in Whitby (27 miles), boasting panoramic views of the ocean and rugged landscapes. Immerse yourself in local heritage with a visit to the ancient ruins of Rievaulx Abbey (13 miles) or wander through the tranquil beauty of Helmsley Walled Garden (10.5 miles). Keen walkers will enjoy the many scenic walks in the area.2

And for those who love equestrian adventures, bring your horse along; we offer stabling and grass paddocks right in front of your accommodation.

Our quintessential  North Yorkshire village pub is  just a short walk away,   beckons with excellent  home cooked ‘pub grub’ and a  dog friendly warm and welcoming atmosphere. Beyond the village , on our doorstep lies a world of exploration: ancient  ruins,  Stately homes and park lands , scenic walks,  the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, and panoramic ocean views—all waiting to be discovered.
